Sid’s Selfie World is a great Field Trip for students in Drama or other performing arts, Photography, and Film studies. Students get to have fun and learn at the same time.

In addition to interacting with various sets, Photography and Film studies students can receive a short tour of how various sets are designed, constructed and illuminated for selfies. Learn what is really behind studio set decision making and how the camera can be fooled to see what we want it to see.

Performing arts students can hone their improvisational skills – jump into a set, take a suggestion and run with it. They can also practice their non-verbal skills – body language and facial expressions. Anybody can look happy sitting a tub full of gold coins, but it takes an actor to convey other emotions.
